4G54 intake manifolds
« on: February 11, 2014, 09:24:15 PM »
Magna - Most common MPI for the 4G54. Was stock on the Australian Mitsubishi Magna (hence the name)
But the engine was in a East West configuration so for the North South RWD platform, the throttlebody has to be moved to the opposite end of the plenum.

1989 Conquest. motor built by DAD .20 over block. Wiseco pistons. new m26 head w/ ss valves. Holset Hx35 at ??psi, hurricane MPI intake manifold. 75lb injectors. meth injection, 3" exhaust. 3bar map sensor. Ajusta Head gasket. ARP head studs. FIP updated by Scott87star

4G54 intake from the caravan modified for stock TBI. Its said the runner design helps even out cylinder distribution which the stock intake runners are said to cause.

Are you talkin about the guy with the one-off EIP manifold? I have pics. It was getting late hahaha. Im gonna post a couple more tonight. Unless the custom jobs are real innovative i dont care to post them.

I will say, I do like the center feed intakes. Thats what FIS used and maxboost made a nice one. It was on PC85's car. Id like to see one flow benched.

Its a custom 1-off EIP design. I remember asking him about it.
