Since you have a flex pipe. Loosen the turbo to manifold bolts, tilt the turbo, bolt on the downpipe and reinstall the turbo to manifold.

Yes but due to the fitment issues I will no longer be running this one. After talking with Ronnie, im sending this one back and having a whole new one made that one better fits my hx40 pro and two have room to grow as I look for more horsepower.  There is nothing wrong with the manifold I received. Fit and finish are second to none and would work great on a mid frame t3 turbo. But for me it was going  to work.  Ronnie is a stand up gentlemen and is willing to work with me and solve this problem. He could have said "it's custom made, deal with it". But he is a business man and takes his customer's first .

Here is a pic of the forced performance fidanza install kit. It consists of new flywheel bolts, flywheel dowel pin, steel plate for between crank bolts and flywheel,  and studs and copper nuts to hold pressure plate to flywheel. Its supposed to help with the forces caused by heavy pressure plates. And to displace clamping force across the whole end of the crank. We will see if it works or not. This wont be my first go around with a fidanza flywheel. Last one destroyed my last motor.

The kit is sold for dsm's, but close enough. It was like $45 back when I got it years ago. I hope the flywheel holds up to the torque and the pressure plate

Dont know if your aware, but my fidanza ripped out helicoils during use with my ACT Xtreme PP. Could slide a Popsicle stick between the flywheel and PP. Then I had a similar failure as you did and snapped all of my flywheel bolts in half and ejected the dowel.

Do me/us a favor and call up ACT and ask em to offer us a chromoly flywheel. Ive done it plenty of times but that makes 1. They are really cool down to earth guys but opted not to for obvious reasons. So if we could start showing sporadic demand.......who knows.   ;)

Yeah, and its NOT..........NOT SFI 1.1 certified.

You want to see a picture of an ACT pressure plate that was resprayed and packaged as a Competition Clutch?

No update guys. Im back to work full duty and its kickin my ass. I didnt even make the full week. Tranny is still on the floor along with the flywheel. I may try today to get it back together. Then I can ship the turbo and manifold back to ronnie. It looks like I wont be able to make the dyno on the 25th. Ill just have to wait til the next one
