The dates and events are as follows:
28 Oct: Dallas Raceway 1/4mi TnT
I will make my attempt to crest into the 10's............ Ill be able to get my 11sec slip there aswell.

30 Oct: Northstar Dragway 1/8mi DI Palooza Import Race
I along with Joe (4cylfury) and a few others will be competing against a slew of DSM's, STi's, Evo's and who knows what else.
If the event prior proves successfull, I hope to work on getting further into the 6's.   Wish us luck!

Equipment:
Wiseco 7.8:1 Block
Banshee Cam
SC6062 @ ??psi
Hurricane MPI
MS1 Extra
AEM Meth Injection
D2 Coilovers
ET Streets
Stock rear

So far on pump gas (No Meth) and 19psi this setup has gone
1.6 60ft / 7.44 @ 94mph and made 380tq 370whp on the Mustang Dyno
(Calculates to an 11.6 1/4mi @ 11?)

My time at the track with the Methanol went like this
1st: 1.6 60ft / 7.31 @ 96mph / 23psi
2nd: 1.6 60ft / 7.20 @ 98mph / 25psi
3rd: 1.5 60ft / Missed 2nd
4th: 1.5 60ft / Blew apart intercooler coupler
5th: 1.54 60ft / 7.11 @ 96mph / 26psi (Popping through 3rd/lost boost)
(7.11 calculates to an 11.1 1/4mi @ 12?)

All calculators I have found req a 1/8mi of 6.98-7.00 to crack a 10sec 1/4mi. Im hoping to make a full pass at 28psi. Looking at how it has already responded indicates more than enough power for a 6.9X 1/8mi. We shall see just how accurate these calculators are.

While at the track, I attempted 2 more passes but could not build boost past 4psi. So I called it a night. On the way home I nearly died of exhaust fumes. Upon further investigation in my garage revealed the displacement of my wastegate.

I wonder if two flanges with the waste gate flange between them would extend the life of these to something more reasonable. At least it would be a replaceable part. Hood clearance may be an issue.

I thought they had an adapter with the waste gate flange between the manifold and turbo flange, this is the closees i could find. Obviously you need 2 t4 flanges.

I guess the meth and header went on about the same time? I wonder if you will see a power drop off going back to the old reliable.

Your modified stocker works, so just improve on it. Save your cash and get the one that 4cylfury has, then shoot for the 6's

I already datalogged it, and didn't have to pull any fuel back out, nor did I have to add any just for the manifold swap. All I noticed was increased spool up, but that doesn't even count being as I found a big ass hole in my charge pipe during preparation for the SMB install.

Now that the ole reliable is back I cant say spool is much different hahaha

Couple people wanted a peaky. You can see IAT's drop but its not holding its ground. Thinking about adding a 2nd nozzle or opening this one up more.

This is a 3-4 pull showing the flatshift in full effect.   8)

Neat and impressive, max of 88 IAT at 3 bar (absolute) is pretty stout.  Your O2 output looks stable even with meth injection?  They are supposed to get jumpy, how much water is in your mix?

Thanks, its funny that you say my O2 looks stable because I'm not happy with it. It was once really smooth and this year started to get erratic. May replace it.

I'm running 50/50

I'm really looking forward to see what it'll do at northstar! I'm sure it'll be nothing compared to Joe but oh well, I'll be excited hahahaha

Looking good what rpms are you are the end? Are you spinning off the line much? Looks like your  hitting rev limiter just before luanch? Hold that back about a .5 sec and you want to luanch just before you hit it to keep up the mometom. You want to drop the clutch about 400-500rpms below the rev limit. If you look at your boost gauge you should be abke to see it jump on the boost a bit every time you stap it a bit I would stap it a bit and bring the rpms up by staping and letting off. When you hold it at a rpm it seems to show more vac then when you are working your way up to it.. Are your rear shocks a bit shot? I found that helped I never replaced mine I wanted them very soft. I want to see 10's!!!!!!

Im leaving the line with just a bit of spin and on the launch control @ 20-22psi. Car is on D2's with the rears full stiff but the fronts are loose in an attempt to pull whatever weight transfer I can out of it. Thats why it looks bouncy.
Considering workin on a 90/10 setup

Ill have to take a vid from the cabin the next time I go. Im cutting the traps mid 5k. But the 3.90's will fix that.

Those aren't your arms cc'ing that head, who's doing the work?  Better question, how far apart were they to begin?

no, im holding the cam lol. Thats mitch, he runs the machine shop.

i was surprised actually. they were within 1 cc of each other. #1 was the farthest off which made sense once i started grinding. the shrouding around the valves of #1 was much less than the other 3??

i cc'd initially tryin to figure my final CR since my head has been resurfaced twice and will catch a 3rd before gettin bolted back down.
