I really need to dial in my cam. I have a adjustable gear that was made 10yrs ago from Canada

I'm waiting for you To finish your shop to do the head porting matching and polishing. For now A local shop is gonna install the swirl polished stock size stainless valves and beehive springs then pressure test for me. I have never degreed a cam before so this will be a learning experience, as the whole project has been lol

Thank you!  So you had a similar issue as I had with a wire pulling loose after a few years of abuse too.. Funny how little things work their way loose over time, but who was to think we are pushing the kinda piower we are from a car that had factory power below 200hp. It's no wonder things like that happen.
What kinda gear was is it? This one I got was made in Canada but sold from a US. Seller, also I wanted a blue cam gear but the red was 40.00 cheaper?!?

head is being built and when its on I am adding this little guy to get this cam dialed in.


I plan on attending a meet early August and I want to have this on and ready to go by then.

I believe the reason he sells the Red one cheaper is the Retard and Advance Label are switched on that batch.

Progress halted with the death of my best friend. I am slowly getting motivation to venture back out and get this put back together. I did pick up a new little go fast part... 70mm BBK throttle body...

The infamous BBK's and their ability to destroy pristine engines. Make sure that throttle blade is fastened with quality hardware and the ends are properly punched to prevent futur removal. Otherwise youll see the same fate as many

I know its been too long since I last posted but the only real update I have is that I need the car tuned and I dont have the money for it at the moment. SOOOO what I am going to do, in the mean time, is compile a list of "other" things that I have been meaning to get to for years.... so that being said I am going to get my list put together and post.
1. Fix the clutch pivot fork that's broken and add the washer Phil recommends for better clutch engagement
2. Figure out why my trans is difficult to shift gears (may relate to the fork issue)
3. Replace the drivers door regulator so my window works again
4. Replace all the lock cylinders (someone drilled them out years ago)
5. Install the SS braided brake lines I have had for 10yr and never put on yet because my brake lines never went bad.
6. Replace the inner passenger tie rod
7. Relocate my w/g dump so that it doesnt burn up my passenger inner tie rod boot again
