Well Ive been on that line for a bit now. Toying with the idea of selling my 6062 and snagging something in the 67mm range $$$$. So I was also considering a turbine housing upgrade. I currently run the .58AR T4 undivided housing. The only other PTE housing is the .68AR. Going off of my MPH increases with added boost has me wondering if I am at the limit of my turbo or if maybe I am limiting it.
So I spoke with PTE on the issue and he (justin) was also in the air. I quite possibly at the max range for my 60mm wheel, but at the same time the .58AR could be chocking it down a bit.
So I can go with a new BB Billet unit of larger size.....$1500!!!!!!!! yuck
or
Purchase the .68AR ($230) housing and do a before and after session at Rock13 to see if it frees up some power. Then if its still hurting, have the 60mm compressor swapped out for a 62mm ($500) which will obviously flow more, judging by how much power Joe's makes.
So that is my plan. Atleast see what the housing nets me anyways.
